Hamas commander wiped out in precision air strike by Israeli fighter jets

A commander has been wiped out in a precision air strike by fighter jets in Gaza in another monumental blow for the terrorist group.

Dramatic aerial footage released by the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) from various different angles shows a figure or object moving quickly along the ground.

That then suddenly explodes into a massive fireball, spIsrael ramps up its offensive against the terrorist group.

IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said: “We are not stopping our attacks on the Strip. We are increasing the attacks in the Gaza Strip in order to reduce the threats to our forces in preparation for the next phase of the war.

“We will go to the next stage under the best conditions for the IDF and in accordance with the decision of the political echelon.”

He did not name the commander who died.

In a post shared on X, it said: “In preparation for the next stages of combat, the IDF operated in northern Gaza.

“IDF tanks & infantry struck numerous terrorist cells, infrastructure and anti-tank missile launch posts. The soldiers have since exited the area and returned to Israeli territory.”

This announcement comes after weeks of growing tensions between Israel and following the deadly incursion into southern areas of the country on October 7, which has left some 1,400 Israelis dead.
