A priest once hailed for his good looks online is now a wanted criminal.
Father Alex Crow of Mobile, Alabama, is wanted by the authorities for allegedly fleeing to Italy with a high school student.
The student, whose identity has not been released, was once his congregant, and they met when she was his parishioner.
The teen graduated from high school this past May, meaning she was either 17 or 18 years old a few months ago.
In the United States, the legal age of adulthood is 18.

According to the , cops initially found a love letter between the pervert priest and his victim – whom he’s accused of grooming – while she was still underage.
“Clearly there was some sort of a relationship other than a priest and a student,” said Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch to the outlet.
Crow was defrocked last month for allegedly abandoning his duties as a priest.
But there may be very little anyone can do, if the teen is indeed of legal age.
The teen has reportedly reached out to her parents and told them she was “happy” in Italy, and to leave her alone because she has no plans to return.
If she is, indeed, 18 years of age or older, there is very little authorities are capable of doing.
What’s more, the teen’s parents initially intended to hold a press conference about the situation but canceled because they feared for their daughter’s safety.
The Archdiocese seems to be cooperating with the investigation, however.
“due to the circumstances of his departure, we have reported this to the district attorney,” they said in a statement.
